It stands to reason that if you take the trouble to be be a blessing to others and to spend most of your time with people who want to be a blessing to you, you will have abundance and joy in your life. Live with givers and become one with them.

Takers need neither help nor companions. Don’t concern yourself with them.

Confusing the Spirtual with the Material 

Have you ever seen a communist get religion?

Marxists are materialist atheists. They actually can’t “get” religion. In a fundamental sense, they can’t and don’t believe. They approach religion in the same way as non believers in anything who want something approach believers who have something they want. The non believers either pretend to believer or they learn enough about the belief system to manipulate the believers.

For instance, notice that Marxists in drag in the congress–I believe they are calling themselves either progressives or liberal democrat these days–wind up telling religious leaders to instruct their followers to vote in a specific way.

If politicians were honest and if he laws they crafted followed a bright clear line, then maybe the way a person happened to vote or the policies he supports, would be a reflection of his spiritual beliefs. But in the real world, the weird, twisted way in which legislation is done means that he law will almost ways do exactly the opposite of what politician says it will. Free speech laws will almost always curtail free speech or result in religious folks needing a revocable license to practice their religion. By the way, in some Western countries it is already against the law to espouse certain parts of the Bible in public.

Any law which the politician claims will save money will wind up costing 10 times more than the politician claims. This is almost always true.

Given the basic dishonesty in politics it is almost never a matter of religious conviction of support a certain policy or politician.

It is either tedious or frightening to think that we are born, we are allotted a certain measure of pain and frustration, and then we die.

There has got to be more to it than this. Even if there isn’t.

It is comforting to think that somewhere down through the centuries that some select few stumbled upon arcane knowledge. That someone found the back door to God and that we have only to say, or do, or believe the right things and we too can gain powers and longevity beyond that or ordinary men. There is absolutely no evidence that anyone has done this. Notice that everyone who claims to have done it is dead?
