Free-to-use app Agora is organizing a photography competition which had asked photographers to capture “Friendship”. World’s Best Photos of #Friends2020 had the prize money of $1,000 and more than 16,000 photographers took part in this competition.
Among the thousands of global submissions, 50 finalists were shortlisted. While each image captures a unique friendship, each photograph is truly heartwarming. Friendship goes beyond human relationships and the photographers did not fail to capture such moments shared between animals and humans or those between two animals.

One of the participants of the competition mentions “Friends come in all shapes and sizes… We often think about humans only having friendships as it’s something we can relate to–but to see wildlife stick at it together is even more inspiring.”

Agora’s Co-Founder and CEO Octavi Royo says: “Friendship is a universal concept that can be perceived in a lot of different ways according to our culture, beliefs and life experience. At Agora, we see friendship in an infinite number of different ways but we also see what is common to all forms of friendship: love, trust and support that is generated between living beings. The result of friendship is a shared, happier life.”
