Dr. Jane Goodall along with the United Nations Environment Program is on a march to plant 1 trillion trees by the end of the decade.

You think that is ambitious? Then listen to this- of the 1 trillion trees the citizens are being encouraged to contribute to, Dr. Jane Goodall plans to plant 5 million trees herself. Now is the time for everyone on the planet to do their part.”

The Jane Goodall Institute has been a leading name in ecosystem regeneration and conservation. The institute has been a pioneer at a global level in restoring and maintaining ecological balance through its plantation initiatives.

Their Roots and Shoots program targets young global citizens. It works to make them aware of their responsibility towards their ecosystem. The environmentally aware members are asked to participate at the base level- of planting and taking care of trees.
